At least, announced from the beginning but released onlyy now, WapcamLet, the client for MIDP jvms is here !
For now its features are limited but they may increase soon.
Using the Java/MIDP technology, it should work on most mobile devices: cell phones, Windows Mobile devices, Symbian, Palm... provided it has a jvm. If you don't have a such jvm, you can find some for free.
WapcamLet can access directly to your WapcamServer at home, or can retrieve the images in your FTP repository. It uses the network connection of your terminal, ie GPRS, Wifi, 3G... In case you use WapcamServer, it handles basic and digest authentication as well. You can also configure the delay time of images retrieval.
It seems midp installer are pretty sensitive so you may experience problems installing the application, don't hesitate to ask your question. |
